We conduct the survey to evaluate our performance as a funder and determine areas we can improve our performance. We also use it to gather insights about the grassroots organisations and young people we work with. This year’s survey collected data on three topics: artificial intelligence, the climate crisis, and youth voice.

Key Findings

The survey received 84 responses, with the majority (69%) coming from current or previous funded partners. A further 25% of responses came from unsuccessful applicants, and 6% came from organisations awaiting a response.

A comprehensive survey summary, which includes more detail on respondent information, can be found in the full survey document.

Here are some of the key findings from this year’s survey.

Flexible Funding Principles

We have committed to being a Flexible Funder. We asked respondents to rate us against 10 funding principles that guide our funding practice, using a scale ranging from ‘Very poor’ to ‘Excellent’.

We were rated positively across all ten funding principles, with between 73% and 81% of respondents rating us as above average/excellent.
