Kent Music is the lead organisation for the Kent & Medway Music Hub, funded by Arts Council England, and a charity dedicated to widening access to high-quality music education. Driven by our belief that music changes lives, we work closely with schools, colleges, cultural organisations and partners to ensure that learners of all ages, especially children and young people, can access and progress in music.

We are now seeking new trustees to join our Board and help guide our work through an exciting and ambitious next chapter.

Future Leaders 2025-26

Future Leaders is Drake Music’s programme to support and promote inclusive, accessible practice in music-making.

It aims to improve representation of young Disabled People in the workforce by:
- Developing progression routes, new skills, and knowledge
- Providing practical experiences
- Exploring the variety of roles within the music sector, such as music leaders, project managers, facilitators and educators.

Launchpad Connect

Since 2019, over 150 artists, labels, managers and early career music professionals from across Yorkshire have been supported through Launchpad.

Launchpad Connect aims to empower existing or aspiring artists and music professionals with the skills and knowledge to navigate a career in music whilst also building an important peer support network.
