Celia Grace

Celia Grace is a bedroom-pop singer from Hartlepool. She has played at various venues across the North East, festivals such as Twisterella and Stockton Calling, and a live session at BBC Maida Vale Studios. She has also been selected to take part in artist development programmes, including Tees Alliance Mentoring, Help Musicians Business Accelerator and Generator First Notes.

Ramé Kari

Ramé Kari are artists from Stockton-On-Tees. They have received support from BBC Tees and BBC Introducing, with their debut single 'Lil Lighty' being named BBC Tees' 'Track of the Week'. The NextGen Fund is supporting them to release their debut EP, 'Casual Disasters', alongside a music video.

Maxine

Maxine is an R&B/soul artist based in the North East of England. Her tracks have received recognition from BBC Radio and 1Xtra, and she has toured with BBC 1Xtra DJ, Ace. Her NextGen Funded project will bring to life her first EP, showcasing sounds she has not previously had the chance to experiment with in her music.

RENOK9000

RENOK9000 is a DJ and producer from North Shields who runs a record label and club night series called STEREO45, based in Newcastle. The club night has enabled him to showcase and provide press opportunities for a significant number of up-and-coming DJs in the local area.

Martha Pryer

Martha Pryer is a singer-songwriter based in Manchester. Her music has received plaudits from BBC West, OStereo and NTS Radio, and she has performed at venues and festivals in the UK (First Street Festival, Off The Square, Contact) and Denmark (Spot Festival).

Maria Winter

Maria Winter

Maria Winter is the co-founder of Marisam Events - a female-led live events company which aims to redefine the creative industries in the North East of England, and showcase local talent. Marisam Events hosts a successful event series called 'Late 'n' Live', a live music quiz featuring a live band of local musicians who play the songs for every question. Marisam's other event series include Late 'n' Live Karaoke, and Platform 22.

Frankie Jobling

Frankie Jobling

Frankie Jobling is a neo-soul artist from Newcastle. She has performed at Kendall Calling and opened for The Pharcyde at their sold-out Boiler Shop show, been supported by We Make Culture and The Glasshouse International Centre for Music, and received praise and plays from Wonderland Magazine, BBC Introducing, ColorsXStudio and Deezer Editorial.

Charlotte Forman is a singer based in North East England. She has received media attention in local and national newspapers, had clips of hers go viral on TikTok, and received further plaudits from BBC Introducing, Mark Ronson and The Script.

Boo

Boo

Boo is a musician and DJ, and the founder of Ghetec, a label and club night which platforms local artists. She has been named one of BBC Radio 1's 'Next Wave Future Artists', has received support from Jaguar on BBC, and performed at BBC's Big Weekend in May 2024. She has also previously collaborated with Boiler Room, and has booked big names for her shows including OK Williams and Elijah.
