Karin is a graduate from HND Music Business at Glasgow Kelvin College. She has worked and performed with Bemz as his DJ, having played events such as The Great Escape, TRNSMT, Reading and Leeds Festival. The NextGen Fund supported her to deliver a series of beginner-friendly DJ workshops for anyone who identifies as a femme/woman, followed by a showcase event at the end of the series.

Marla Kether

Marla Kether

Marla is a bassist, DJ and producer based in Bristol. She has created mixes for BBC Introducing and BBC 6 Music. She has performed as a session bassist for the likes of Yazmin Lacey, Oscar Jerome and Obongjayar, and toured with Little Simz. Her debut EP 'All That We Have' was heralded by Bandcamp Daily as some of 'The Best Electronic Music of November 2023', and the closing track 'BTR2' was one of DJ Mag's Top Tracks of 2023. In 2024, she was also awarded the Music Producer Award at the Youth Music Awards, sponsored by AlphaTheta. Marla has also performed at The Jazz Cafe, Shambala Festival and London Jazz Festival, with further shows to take place in 2025 at Cross The Tracks Festival, the Royal Albert Hall, and The Roundhouse.

Bailey P

Bailey P is a self-taught DJ and producer from West Yorkshire. His tracks have reached the top 20 of the iTunes Dance charts, he has had a guest mix and interview on Kiss FM, and he has been featured in campaigns by JD Sports. He has also received support from BBC Introducing, and has performed in cities across the UK, including Birmingham, Leeds and Sheffield, among others.

Angel of Origin

Angel of Origin is a DJ, producer and audiovisual artist based in Nottingham. He performed a DJ set supporting Bicep during Youth Music's Give A Gig Week, hosts his own radio show on Swing Dash, and designs posters, graphics, animations and visuals for various music projects.

Zeitgeist

Zeitgeist

Zeitgeist is a producer and DJ from the East of England. He is currently working on an 8-12 track drum-and-bass album which branches out across jungle, UK garage, drill, soul, reggae and new school R&B. He has worked with a number of other rising artists and creatives in the UK music scene, including Young Athena, spoken word poet Yemi Yohannes, and Nia Archives.

Tommy Phillips

Tommy Phillips is a house music DJ who has toured around the world in 2024, including across Latin America, and in China. He released his debut EP, ‘Foolish Stuff’, in October 2024.

melba

melba is a DJ, producer, video editor and graphic designer from Newcastle. She is also the founder of a club night called 'Club Cetera', and runs workshops teaching women and gender-non-conforming people in the North East how to DJ. She is currently working on an EP of underground electronic music with a distinctly feminine influence, which will be fully produced and mixed by herself.

NO-EL

NO-EL is a DJ and music leader, who runs workshops to teach young people how to produce and DJ. He works across genres, having produced a range of music from rap to house and dubstep, and the NextGen Fund will allow him to release his debut EP.

Jessicadancemusic

Jessicadancemusic makes acid house, trance and techno music. With the support of the NextGen Fund, she has been able to build her network; produce music with other DJs, producers and songwriters; and attend workshops and events with others in the industry.

DJ H4ZZA

DJ H4ZZA has his own radio show at Milton Keynes Hospital, and has been commissioned to write music pieces for charities such as Talkback, to be featured in their public awareness films.
