Afrobaby

Afrobaby is a British/Nigerian artist from Bradford, blending electronic, indie, R&B, and Liquid Drum and Bass. Her debut EP 'SAFE SPACE' explores mental health and self-discovery. With continuing support from BBC Introducing, she performed at the Bradford City of Culture 2025 launch, showcasing her empowering, genre-defying sound.

AIIME C

Wales
 

AIIME C is a vocalist and MC inspired by pop, liquid drum & bass, and garage. Her NextGen Fund project, 'Up in the Air', is an EP inspired by the Air element in astrology. It will blend genres like pop, drum and bass, and hip-hop, featuring meaningful lyrics and soft, airy vocals. The album art will have colourful pastel clouds, reflecting the EP’s dreamy and ethereal vibe.

AFFIEJAM

West Midlands
 

AFFIEJAM is a multi-disciplinary artist from Birmingham, known as a songwriter, musician, illustrator and DJ. In 2024, after breaking her hand, she self-produced her debut mixtape 'MAKES + BREAKS' with an accompanying mixed-media zine. Now, AFFIEJAM will create a self produced EP called 'WORKSHOPPING LIFE', where one track is released as a single first. Accompanying visuals in the form of an interactive digital (and limited print) zine, listening party and a concept music video. The title reflects how "we cannot do life alone."

WOLFPEACHES

WOLFPEACHES is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Sheffield. They have received support from BBC Sheffield and Come Play With Me; performed at various festivals including Floating Castle Festival, Fire in the Mountain and Tramlines; and played shows abroad, including in Slovenia.

Tsatsamis

Tsatsamis

Tsatsamis is a London-based artist, producer and songwriter. His music has reached over a million streams across his tracks, and the London date of his 'Our Shame' tour in October 2024 sold out. His track 'Everybody Wants a Piece of You' was placed #10 out of 'The 100 Best Songs of 2023' by i-D Magazine, his other songs have been featured on Spotify editorial playlists including 'Fresh Finds Pop', and he was named one of 10 Men Magazine's 'New Noise Artists of 2025'. He has also performed at festivals including Glastonbury Festival and Mighty Hoopla. Last year, he was shortlisted for the Music Producer Award at the Youth Music Awards 2024.

The Pink Nostalgia is an artist based in North London. The NextGen Fund supported the release of his EP, 'Youth & Observation',  and which was supported by live gigs with his live band.

Risky

Risky

Risky is an artist from Warwickshire. The music video for his song 'Too Many' was shortlisted for the Music Video Award at the Youth Music Awards 2022, and expresses his emotions about street life, the dangers of knife crime, and the impact of violence on young people. He has also performed at Godiva Festival, and has received radio support from BBC Coventry & Warwickshire. The NextGen Fund funded his album 'Overlooked'.

Richard Carter

Richard Carter

Richard Carter is an artist, producer and songwriter from South Norwood. His track 'Le Monde' was featured in the soundtrack to the film 'Talk To Me', and has been streamed over 100 million times. Last year, he was the winner of Rising Star (Artist) at the Youth Music Awards 2024. He has also performed at EartH Hackney, created a song with Wretch32 as part of Apple's MadeInLDN documentary, and was invited to a two-week writing camp in LA following the viral success of 'Le Monde' across streaming and social media.

Peri Rae

Peri Rae

Peri Rae is a singer originally from London, now based in Cornwall. She has been named 'One to Watch' by BBC Introducing, an 'artist you have to meet' by Rolling Stone, and has had several of her songs placed on Spotify editorial playlists - including 'Our Generation', 'New Music Friday UK' and 'Fresh Finds UK and IE'. She has also been invited to feature on the award-winning podcast The Guilty Feminist, performed an intimate showcase at Soho House Greek Street, and has supported James Bay, Kevin Garrett, Nathan Ball and Alfie Templeman on tour. Peri has also performed at festivals including Great Estate, Rock Oyster and Boardmasters; and last year, her song 'the ocean (i could die)' was shortlisted for the Music Video Award at the Youth Music Awards 2024.

Ogun

Ogun

Ogun is a poet, writer, activist, musician and fashion designer. He is the Agent for Change at the Arts Council of Wales. His EP 'Flight Mode' was placed on a list of the '100 Greatest Welsh Albums of All Time' by Wales Arts Review, has received support from BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra, and has performed at a variety of venues and festivals including FOCUS Wales, Tiny Rebel Fest, 2 headline gigs in Porters (Cardiff), Swn Festival, Le Pub (Newport), The Moon (Cardiff) and a headline show at Clwb Ifor Bach (Cardiff). He has also been named a 'Future Figure' by BBC 1Xtra, featured in a documentary by It's My Shout looking at MOBO music in Wales, and was selected for Forte Project's artist development programme in Wales.
