Working with hydrophones, layered field recordings, and processed voice, she creates immersive environments that reveal the entanglement of bodies and waters. Her project will involve making an EP continuing my practice weaving hydrophone and field recordings from around Scotland to imagine water and ecology as an instrument, incorporating these sounds into more clubby, experimental songs. Drawing on theories of hydrofeminism, slyn's project would bridge her scientific research and love for music.
