Paid Music Industry Roles

The UK Beatbox Championships Youth Inclusion, Engagement & Skills Initiative  

Are you 18-25 and looking to progress or start a career in the music industries? The UK Beatbox Championships are offering paid roles at their event on 20th & 21st September in Bristol this year as part of their Youth Inclusion, Engagement & Skills Initiative. 

Role’s are open to applications from individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds from the South, South West England and Wales including Wiltshire, Swindon, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, West Berkshire and North East Somerset areas.  You may be a musician, but equal opportunity to take part will be given to those who are not. You may have some, or no experience in the music industries.   

The Roles 

The roles involve training and live event work experience in crew and production.  

Roles include Stage Management, Filming and Photo Assistant, Artist Liaison, Door Sales, Ticketing, Merchandise Stall, Marketing, Market Research, General Live Event Assistant, Social Media and more. 

Remuneration 

Each role is freelance, providing each participant with a freelancer fee of the equivalent of £12.65 per hour with a commitment of 8 working hours on each day, (£101.20 per day, £202.40 for both days). There may also be support with access costs (eg: excessive travel costs).
