You’ll support the creation of a new content strategy designed to achieve our marketing objectives, which are:Inspire inclusive practices among projects and professionals working with young people in music.Build the credibility of Youth Music among young creatives.Grow awareness of Youth Music as the leading voice on young people and music.Demonstrate the impact of Youth Music’s work and partnerships.Support the organisation in achieving our ambitious fundraising goals.Working closely with the Social Media and Content Assistant and a team of 18–25-year-old freelance creatives from the Youth Music NextGen community, you’ll produce engaging, high-impact content that tells our story - demonstrating the lifechanging power of music, the barriers young people face in accessing it, and the impact Youth Music and its funded partners have.You’ll develop and oversee content commissions, create marketing briefs, advise interested parties, and develop content into engaging alternative formats, such as video, graphic design, and interactive digital storytelling.Informed by insights from across the organisation, social listening tools, and the news agenda, you’ll ensure our content is topical, innovative, and audience-first. You’ll host regular Editorial Meetings to gather insights and collaborate with colleagues.Whilst creativity is key, you’ll also understand the importance of planning and performance analysis - ensuring every piece of content has a clear purpose.You’ll also play a pivotal role in building Youth Music’s brand equity by championing our brand guidelines, tone of voice, brand positioning, and core messaging.You’ll support community management across Youth Music’s social channels, using our tone of voice to build trust, encourage engagement, and strengthen relationships with our audiences.Please note: We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive a high volume of suitable applications.
