Icey Stanley

Icey Stanley

Icey Stanley is a British-Zimbabwean artist based in Coventry. He raps, sings and writes songs; he is also the founder of the media studio, Ode Creatives. To date, he has racked up hundreds of thousands of views on his YouTube videos, and over 700,000 streams on Spotify. He has also completed five tours around the UK, and worked with established artists including Paigey Cakey and Ironik.

Catriona Bourne

Catriona Bourne

Catriona Bourne is a singer and multi-instrumentalist from the West Midlands. She has composed a series of five songs for the electric harp, electric guitar, drumkit and bass, which the NextGen Fund will be supporting her to release as an EP this year. She will then be looking to take this EP on tour, at jazz and folk festivals across the UK.

Signal

Signal is a sound engineer, producer and DJ from Birmingham. They also produce and facilitate creative projects and teach women and non-binary people within music technology. They are part of ‘Sisterhood’, a nationwide DJ collective and organise DJ mix meetups for ‘High Key Records’ in Birmingham.

Serena Jasmine

Serena Jasmine is a singer from the West Midlands. With the NextGen Fund, she has been working on her latest EP, 'Everlasting', which is about legacy, memory and generational stories. It will bring South Asian sonic and cultural influences into her sound for the first time.

TEEDEMBA

TEEDEMBA

TEEDEMBA is a rapper, singer, youth worker and model based in Coventry. He has featured on the cover of iD Magazine, as well as in campaigns for Nike, Louis Vuitton and HOMME+. He has also headlined the Resonate Stage at Godiva Festival, raised awareness of homelessness in Paris and Amsterdam with his music video for 'Tap & Go', and performed at the Commonwealth Games.

Matilda Pratt

Matilda Pratt

Matilda Pratt is an indie-pop singer-songwriter from the West Midlands. She has played at a variety of festivals to date, including CarFest, Pub in the Park, and Tramlines Fringe, as well as headlining shows at local venues. The NextGen Fund has allowed her to take her latest EP, 'Sunday Girl', on tour across the UK.
