At this 3-day practical training course, musicians will learn a range of new techniques, share experiences, and explore new ideas in a non-judgemental environment. The course is led by professional leader James Redwood, alongside three guest leaders: Jason Singh (jasonsinghthing.com), Sarah Freestone (BBC Concert Orchestra), and Rosie Adediran (The Family Music Hub). 

Session 1: Music Facilitation Toolkit Thursday 5th February, 10am-5pm Learn practical skills and techniques for leading in a variety of settings, including integrating technology into facilitation and vocal leading. 

Session 2: Leading Creative Instrumental Projects Thursday 12th March, 10am-5pm Discover ways to lead inclusive creative instrumental projects, unpacking strategies when working with a wide range of instruments. 

Session 3: Inclusive Music Facilitation Thursday 26th March, 10am-5pm Explore methods of leading music workshops with families and young children, plus ways to build belonging and confidence working with migrant communities.
