South Wales musicians Hannah Paloma and James Jones blend indie and folk influences in their collaborative track “Long Train Rides.” Written from the perspective of long-distance lovers, the song captures the quiet tension of waiting and reunion. With gentle instrumentation and ambient train sounds, it evokes a soothing, cinematic atmosphere - showcasing the duo’s storytelling strength and the creative spirit of their local music scene.

HULTON (he/him), TeeDEMBA (he/him), Livvy K (she/her), Richard Carter (he/him) - Paper Chaser

Youth Music NextGen Fund, London, North West, South East

“Paper Chaser” is a high-energy collaboration from four of Youth Music’s Ones to Watch 2025: HULTON, TeeDemba, Livvy K, and Richard Carter. Created at Qube Studios during a Youth Music writing camp, the track blends Afro, UK rap, and northern soul influences. With multicultural flair and undeniable chemistry, this demo showcases the group’s raw talent, ambition, and potential to shape the future of UK music.

Nobody’s Secret - Wait Another Day

Young Sounds, Furthering Talent Programme, East Midlands

Nobody’s Secret is a dark pop/metal band blending haunting melodies, crushing riffs, and raw emotion. Their track “Wait Another Day” explores heartbreak and resilience, developed from bandmate Jake Freeman’s early work at LIPA. The band channels personal struggles into powerful music and immersive live shows, collaborating with emerging Liverpool talent to grow together and stay true to their ethos of vulnerability and authenticity.

The 113 - Inside

Launchpad, Yorkshire & The Humber

The 113 deliver a visceral post-punk sound, fusing heavy guitars with cathartic melodies. Formed through local music connections at The Brudenell, their track “Inside” explores the emotional fallout of staying in a relationship for comfort. Written and recorded in a bedroom studio, the song captures raw intensity and marks a return to hook-driven songwriting, inviting listeners on a journey of self-awareness and honesty.

With BBC Introducing support and standout live performances, it’s a testament to the power of collaboration, mentorship, and artistic growth in the UK’s emerging music scene.

Zima Green - Be Someone

Youth Music NextGen Fund, London & Brighton

Zima Green is a hip-hop/R&B trio with a fresh, genre-blending sound. Formed through Youth Music’s NextGen program, the group includes BAFTA-winning producer Jamal Green, soulful singer Georgia Chanel, and rising rapper Hulton. Their track “Be Someone” - inspired by retro video game soundtracks - was recorded at Platoon 7 studio and celebrates individuality, crafted with precision and passion over two months of collaboration.
