Afrobaby

Yorkshire and the Humber
 

Afrobaby is a British/Nigerian artist from Bradford, blending electronic, indie, R&B, and Liquid Drum and Bass. Her debut EP 'SAFE SPACE' explores mental health and self-discovery. With continuing support from BBC Introducing, she performed at the Bradford City of Culture 2025 launch, showcasing her empowering, genre-defying sound.

WOLFPEACHES is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Sheffield. They have received support from BBC Sheffield and Come Play With Me; performed at various festivals including Floating Castle Festival, Fire in the Mountain and Tramlines; and played shows abroad, including in Slovenia.

Mason Talbot

Yorkshire and the Humber

 

Mason Talbot is a Welsh-born DJ and producer based in Leeds. His breakthrough track, 'Cocaina', has surpassed 3 million streams to date, and he has performed at prominent venues and shows across the UK, including MiNT Warehouse, Egg, and Leeds Defected Festival. He is currently using the NextGen Fund to grow his independent record label, Redefy Records.

Lucas Assagba

Yorkshire and the Humber

 

Lucas Assagba is a singer, songwriter and producer from Bradford. 'the Solution', is the sequel project to her first EP, 'the Resolution'. Where 'the Resolution' focused on what it means to heal, 'the Solution' deals with the aftermath of healing, and everything that comes next. Lucas plans to finish and promote 'the Resolution' with the NextGen Fund.

FEE is a trumpet player and vocalist from Leeds. She has performed at Leeds Jazz Festival. She is currently using the NextGen Fund to record and release an EP called 'Dancing Flames', which she will release towards the end of this year, celebrated with a headline show.

Maddie Morris

Maddie Morris

Maddie Morris is a contemporary folk musician from Leeds. They have won the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award and the Peter Roberts CBE Memorial Prize for their work, and have toured across the UK and Europe supporting artists including Nancy Kerr, Chuck SJ, Flyte and Angeline Morrison. They have also performed at Hartlepool, Cambridge, Towersey and Cropredy Folk festivals, and been selected for the English Folk Expo scheme.

Bailey P is a self-taught DJ and producer from West Yorkshire. His tracks have reached the top 20 of the iTunes Dance charts, he has had a guest mix and interview on Kiss FM, and he has been featured in campaigns by JD Sports. He has also received support from BBC Introducing, and has performed in cities across the UK, including Birmingham, Leeds and Sheffield, among others.

KG is a rapper, youth worker, actor and poet from Bradford. She has performed in Parliament for International Women's Day, played an active part in Bradford's bid to become City of Culture 2025, won a Bradford Community Stars award for her input on the KCU campaign, and has been featured in an exhibition at The Bronte Parsonage Museum in Haworth.

Jemma Freese

Jemma Freese is a keyboardist and vocalist who has collaborated with the likes of J Frisco, J2oh and Maximo Park. She has had support from programmes including Serious' Take Five scheme, Jazz North Northern Line, and Sage Gateshead's Summer Studios Scheme. Her music has also been played on BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio 3, and she has performed at EFG London Jazz Festival.
