Matty Lusher

Matty Lusher is a music video director from Aberdeen. Since starting out, he has made a significant impact on helping the Aberdeen rap scene grow. With his NextGen Fund, he was able to shoot and edit three free music videos for three emerging local artists, to help support their careers.

Amy Laurenson

Amy Laurenson is a musician from the Shetland Isles, currently based in Glasgow. She has been named BBC Radio Scotland Youth Traditional Musician of the Year, and performed at a variety of festivals including Edinburgh TradFest, Shetland Folk Festival, Cambridge Folk Festival, Eden Court 'Under Canvas' Festival, and more.

Callum Kershaw

Callum Kershaw

Callum Kershaw is a graphic designer, producer and DJ from Lancaster, who currently resides in Glasgow. He currently designs and art-directs for a variety of club nights around the UK. He is also the founder of Lune, a non-hierarchical record label and creative platform which works in distributing music and publications, and organising events. Lune aims to provide a collective outlet for marginalised/peripheral artists and divergent, genreless music.

JusHarry is a rapper and songwriter based in Scotland. His songs have been played across radio by BBC, Kiss Fresh and Reprezent, and he has toured across the UK and Europe - including in Glasgow, Aberdeen, and at New Skool Rules Festival in Rotterdam.

Marcus Frame

Marcus Frame is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer based in Glasgow. He is a commissioned producer for anam creative, and has composed projects in collaboration with fellow NextGen Funded artist Naafi. He also runs a monthly live groove jam at Hillhead Bookclub.

Mairi Sutherland

Mairi Sutherland is a contemporary folk singer and visual artist from Scotland. The NextGen Fund is supporting her to release her latest EP, 'Paint-slinger', where she will combine rich sounds and visual elements, such as hand-drawn animations, to create an immersive experience for listeners.

Eyve

Eyve is an artist based in Glasgow. With the support of the NextGen Fund, she will soon be releasing her Afrofuturist EP 'Metamorphosis ye Sound', which combines Zimbabwean influences with contemporary hip-hop, and sounds from Glasgow's techno scene.

Raivo Sloan

Raivo Sloan is a musician and multidisciplinary artist. They have been commissioned to compose a piece for the Counterflows Festival, have been selected for the Sonic Youths programme in Glasgow, and released their debut EP this year to critical acclaim.

Jessicadancemusic makes acid house, trance and techno music. With the support of the NextGen Fund, she has been able to build her network; produce music with other DJs, producers and songwriters; and attend workshops and events with others in the industry.

Heather Cartwright

Heather Cartwright

Heather Cartwright is a guitarist based in Scotland. Her work includes performing solo and in ensembles, community music, writing commissions, studio recording and teaching guitar workshops. To date, she has toured regularly around Scotland, performing alongside the likes of Beth Malcolm, Hannah Rarity, Ainsley Hamill and Josie Duncan.
