Aged 18-30 and want to know more about the legal side of your creative career? Our upcoming NextGen Community event with Amazon and Morrison Foerster offers young creatives an overview on what to look out for when it comes to music law.

Amazon and Morrison Foerster have teamed up to offer NextGen Community members a masterclass in music law, including common legal problems which pop up in the world of music, disputes you might encounter and how to resolve them, and top tips for protecting yourself and your rights within your creative work.

The event will feature a workshop, panel discussion, and opportunities to network with legal representatives and other NextGen in the room. Food will generously be provided by Wingstop.

The panel will be formed of experienced entertainment lawyers, and the discussion will aim to answer questions which participants have submitted in advance. To submit a question for consideration by the panel, please fill in the relevant question box on the checkout page when reserving a ticket to this event.

The educational workshop and panel will provide general information about music law and is not intended as legal advice for individual situations.

As the capacity for this event is extremely limited, if you reserve a ticket and can no longer make it, please refund your ticket via Universe or email us at creatives@youthmusic.org.uk to let us know.

The venue for this event, Morrison Foerster's office, is accessible. If you have any other questions about this event, including about accessibility, please feel free to email us.
