The Nominees Eve Rose (she/her)Jack Drum Arts, North EastEve Rose is a dynamic young leader, percussionist, and climate activist from County Durham. As Event Manager of the award-winning B.O.P. Fest and leader of multiple percussion bands, she empowers young people through music, mentorship, and social action. From founding inclusive initiatives to raising thousands for charity, Eve’s impact spans performance, education, and advocacy - making her an exceptional role model and a powerful force for change in her community. Miri Layzell-Calder (he/him)AudioActive, South EastMiri Layzell-Calder is a Brighton-based musician, mentor, and advocate creating safe, inclusive spaces for queer and trans youth through music. A former AudioActive participant turned music leader, Miri draws on his lived experience to inspire and uplift others. His authenticity, resilience, and deep empathy have enabled him to transform lives through creativity, connection. His support for marginalised young people in the music industry is unwavering. Tom Rabbani (he/him)Brighter Sound, North WestTom Rabbani is a Manchester-based musician, producer, and young leader transforming the music industry through creativity and advocacy. A Brighter Sound alumnus and their youngest-ever Trustee, Tom co-leads the Revel Collective and has represented Manchester at WOMEX. Balancing music, care responsibilities, and leadership, he champions inclusivity and empowers marginalised voices - proving that empathy, resilience, and vision can drive meaningful change in the music sector.
