Aged 18-30 and want to know how to cultivate a fanbase for your creative project? Our upcoming NextGen Community event in Liverpool lets young creatives in on everything they need to know.

Join us at District in Liverpool for a panel discussion, where we'll tackle how to tap into a fanbase for your creative project, in the midst of changing online tools and trends. We'll be breaking down how being a fan has changed over the last few years, and how social media has shifted the engagement between fan and creator.

Our expert panellists will give you the low-down on how to keep up with these changes, turning your followers into fans, and your fanbase from 'cultivated' to 'activated'.

After the panel, enjoy a performance from a local NextGen Funded artist, followed by an open mic and networking session.

Signups to the open mic will be first-come, first-served once doors open. You can register your interest to perform by ticking the question box at checkout, but this will not guarantee your performance; slots will be very limited, so arrive early to sign up and avoid disappointment. For the open mic, please bring any instruments you would need for your performance.

Where: District, 61 Jordan St, Liverpool, L1 0BE

When: Wednesday 19 November 2025, 7 PM - 11 PM

Panellists:

  • Vanessa Bakewell, Client Partnership Lead at Meta
  • Valerie Bounds, Co-Founder, Chief Strategy & Creative Officer at Aurora Agency
  • Jamie Scahill, Head of Marketing at Skiddle
