AMP’s Training Collective will develop the expertise and capacity of organisations to support and include young people at all levels of operation. Often referred to as ‘youth voice’, this means including young people in all aspects of an organisation: planning, design, delivery, and governance. We are looking to recruit a team of Youth Voice Training Producers who can help us design a training and consultancy programme. We want to involve young people in the process of designing this programme which will aim to improve how organisations work with, and create opportunities for, young people. At the end of this process, we hope to have co-designed a training and consultancy package that explores how to engage with, and meaningfully involve young people, inclusively. We expect that this package will be used to train and consult with a wide range of organisations both within and outside of the creative sector. Time commitment: This role will be approximately 45 hours between October and January. In Person or remote?: 60% of this time will be meeting in person in central York, 40% will be meeting online via Zoom. We expect that in person meetings will take place on Wednesdays and online meetings on Mondays. Payment Information: We will pay the Real Living Wage rate of £12.60 an hour or £94.50 a day. This job is a short-term contract and will be classed as self-employed work. If this job takes you over the threshold for self-employed income of £1000, we will support you in how to register to pay your own tax and National Insurance. This job is open to those aged 18-30 years, we will prioritise applications of those who are living within North Yorkshire, or wider Yorkshire area but anyone living within the United Kingdom is welcome to apply.
