Rhythmix Youth Music Action Zone Goes Global
'Go Global' is a fantastic compilation of tracks by the most exciting new bands East Sussex
The album put together by Rhythmix Youth Music Action Zone is available worldwide on iTunes, eMusic, Napster, Rhapsody and most other major music download services from December 14 for just £5. It features brand new recordings from 13 of the regions best talents including Roadkill, Safe 13, Barrier Dutch and Soul Sanctuary
The album aims to generate funds to support the work of the Live in the Valley project which has been running in East Sussex for six years, working with local young people to help them create their own music. As well as weekly rehearsals, the project organises concerts, recordings and helps young people to develop their music.
‘Go Global’ is the first release from Rhythmix working in partnership with Outstanding Records, an international label with its headquarters in the South East region.
Project Director Mark Davyd said “Over the last few years many young people have had the chance to develop their music and express themselves with the help of the Live in the Valley project. During the course of that project we have seen many great bands develop, including Mumm Ra and Fleeing from Finales, both of whom have gone on to sign for major record labels. The quality of the music being produced by the bands taking part in LIVE IN THE VALLEY really does stand up on its own – ‘Go Global’ is an album with 13 genuinely great tracks, as well as being an opportunity to support the very important work that LITV does”.
Go Global is available for download from all major services from December 14th 2007 at the knockdown budget price of less than £5.
