Lend your Jazz Hands!
The National Youth Jazz Collective invites you to host their series of gigs, workshops and jam sessions
The National Youth Jazz Collective (NYJC) is looking for 5 regional organisations to each host a series of four jazz weekends between 1st September 2008 and 1st April 2009.
Funded by Youth music and currently parented by Birmingham Conservatoire, the NYJC is an exciting initiative designed to support the creative and educational needs of the young jazz musician through regional outreach projects and a national summer school in 2009.
The NYJC’s commitment to the project will be to cover the costs of providing each region with a quartet of internationally renowned jazz musicians, who are also expert jazz educators. For more information on the initiative and hosting the jazz weekends visit www.nyjc.co.uk
