Young Talent Awards 2010

Musicians Benevolent Fund offers support to outstanding young musicians

Do you know a talented young musician (aged 11 - 18) who could do with some financial support?

If so, the Musicians Benevolent Fund's Young Talent Awards could be the perfect solution to help them progress.

The awards offer young musicians funding of up to £1000 towards:

  • the cost of buying an instrument
  • music lessons with a private teacher
  • fees or travel expenses to attend a Saturday music centre

They can also help 18 year old musicians with buying an instrument if they are going on to study at university or college.

Every year the charity has over £100,000 available for young musicians in financial need. Last year they reached 180 talented young people through the scheme, so if you need support or know someone who does, visit the MBF website to apply: www.mbf.org.uk

The closing date for applications is Friday 11 June 2010.
