Donate an Instrument
If you have an instrument lying about that is unused and unloved, you may decide to want to donate it to us.
We regularly receive such offers of instruments, which are always appreciated, and we will always make sure your instrument goes to a suitable project.
However, we often face problems with the cost of transportation of instruments so we would like to encourage you to sell your instrument on Ebay and donate the proceeds to us. We have an Ebay page, where you can register to sell your instrument and set the percentage of the sale price that you would like to donate to us.

If you are unable to use Ebay, please send us an email with a photo of the instrument and the following information to fundraising@youthmusic.org.uk:
- Type Of Instrument
- Brand
- Condition
- Dimensions
If we are able to place your instrument in one of our music projects or use it to raise funds to support our work (depending on your wish), we will then ask you to send it to our offices.
However, we do need this email from you first to confirm the condition of your instrument(s).
