Who Singbook is aimed at

Singbook has been conceived for all people leading singing, whether for the first time or for those looking for new repertoire.  As every user will have different musical skills and experience, the book is designed to be flexible; some songs are straightforward, others more challenging.
What makes Singbook unique?

Singbook:
  • Explores a wide range of musical styles and topics, to inspire all young people from key stages 2 to 4
  • Celebrates our culturally diverse community: from Gujarati, Mandarin and Albanian songs to music by some of the UK’s best-known songwriters
  • Presents each song as a complete ‘unit’, fully supported by interviews with the composers, learning strategies, warm ups and creative music-making ideas
  • Provides photocopiable vocal parts and lyric sheets with additional questions and starting points to help singers discover the meaning of each song
  • Has been carefully graded and colour-coded into three levels – starting, developing and challenging – from songs in unison to those sung in parts
  • Includes a dedicated section on warm ups, with a wide range of material to complement the songs and encourage good singing practice
  • Is stunningly produced in full-colour throughout with two professionally produced CDs of backing tracks and complete performances of the songs and warm ups
