Youth Music Week is Youth Music's annual celebration of young people's music making and takes place this year from 25 October to 1 November 2008. As well as giving young talent the opportunity to get themselves heard, it's also the chance for aspiring musicians to try out new activities and for potential or existing music leaders and practitioners to find out about professional development opportunities on offer.
This year, Youth Music is giving young musicians aged 14-18 the chance to perform at six Barfly venues alongside top artists throughout Youth Music Week.
