Set up in 1999, with a remit to support music-making activities for some of the UK’s most disadvantaged young people, Youth Music has gone on to reach over 1.75 million children and young people, encouraging their talents, building their confidence and transforming the landscape of musical opportunity throughout the UK. The music-making supported is of the widest variety, from Hip Hop and DJing to Classical and Jazz.

Open Programmes Assistant Officer
Salary: £22,765 - £23,772 - Full Time, Permanent
Based: London, SE1
Youth Music is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our busy Open Programmes funding team. The role involves providing administrative support to ensure the effective running of grant assessments, monitoring and payment functions. The successful candidate will have strong communication, IT and administration skills, with the ability to prioritise a heavy workload. With experience of grant administration and database management, you will have an understanding of voluntary and public sector structures and social issues affecting children and young people.

Research and Evaluation Officer
Salary: £30,063 - £31,898 Executive Officer (Full Time, Permanent)
Based: London, SE1
Youth Music is currently seeking a Research & Evaluation Officer to support the team in evidencing the need for, and impact of our work. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, with a solid understanding of research methodology. In addition to a keen understanding of UK social issues, demographics and the education system, you will have strong analytical and written communication skills, and an ability to multi task within tight timeframes.
