Job vacancies at Youth Music:
Research Tender - Youth Music Action Zones
Youth Music is inviting suitable applicants to tender for an evaluation of its flagship programme, the Youth Music Action Zones (YMAZs). Set up between 2000 and 2003, the 21 YMAZs across England and Wales offer regionally responsive programmes to children and young people with least opportunity to participate in quality music-making activities. During their lifetimes YMAZs have undergone change and strategic development, with the majority now being programmes within independent organisations with a wider remit of work. Regional responsiveness has enabled the YMAZs to become a broad and extremely diverse network of organisations. The evaluation will be used to recommend the focus of the YMAZ programme from 2010 onwards, in implementing Youth Music’s new policy areas.
