- Youth Music has awarded two grants to New Roots totaling £589,000.
- New Roots has raised £118,518 in partnership funding
- 1,546 children and young people took part in the Action Zone's first phase.
- The Action Zone aims to triple participation in the next two years.
- New Roots aims for at least 40% of its participants to be first timers - a goal that was exceeded in its first phase (45%).
- 21 projects were run in phase one (June 2001 - Oct 2002), with another 19 running in phase two (October 2002 - March 2005).
